5th Annual Conference of the Swedish Network for International Health

Veronica Costea and Fernando Zacarias on the 2018 SNIH Conference

(Gothenburg, Sweden)

MultiPOD's Principal Mentor Fernando Zacarías participated as a speaker in SNIH's with a lecture on his personal and professional lifelong experience and vision for the future of Global Health, and the workshop "A Curriculum for Life" in which he addressed the areas of mentoring of MultiPOD. The SNIH is a network of international students in Master of Global Health programs at the Universities of Gothenburg, Umeå, Lund, Uppsala and the Karolinska Institute in Sweden. This scientific event was productive and successful: in 2019, eight international students including the Chair and Vice-Chair of SNIH joined MultiPOD as mentees. It's also noteworthy that the former SNIH Chair in 2017, Veronica Costea from Romania, was also a MultiPOD mentee in 2018 and a MultiPOD Technical Officer in 2019.
